What is WIC?

Do you have a child that is under five years old? Are you pregnant or breastfeeding?  WIC can provide you with:                              nutrition counseling healthy foods from the grocery store (& Farmers Market during summer months) referrals to community resources breastfeeding

WIC Breastfeeding Resources

The WIC Program has a strong commitment to breastfeeding. Each WIC project has a trained  breastfeeding coordinator.  Each WIC project can provide breastfeeding information and individual breastfeeding instruction and support. Contact your local WIC office for information on breastfeeding classes

Breastfeeding Program

The Oneida County Breastfeeding Program provides individual and group teaching for parents interested in breastfeeding; community promotion of breastfeeding; technical assistance to worksites interested in supporting working breastfeeding mothers; and professional in-services.
